Caring for Your Teeth with Fluoride Varnish
Fluoride varnish is effectively used to shield your teeth from decay and cavities. We encourage a fluoride varnish treatment applied at least once a year for those who need the extra protection. Our take-home fluoride varnish can be applied using a mouthguard and worn overnight for maximum results. Dr. Miller shows you the correct amount of solution to apply to your nightguard before wearing it.
Nightguards to Protect Your Smile
If you suffer from jaw pain, it may be caused or enhanced by temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD) or bruxism. TMD is a jaw disorder that can be caused by many different things, including stress, whiplash, or teeth grinding. Bruxism is a health condition characterized by grinding or clenching your teeth, often while sleeping. We offer advanced diagnostics and custom-fitted nightguards to reduce the impact of teeth grinding at night and alleviate your symptoms.
Our goal is to prevent broken teeth, cracks, and wear on your teeth over time. When you visit our practice to receive a nightguard, we carefully assess your smile and take impressions. These images are then sent to a dental lab, which crafts your custom nightguard. When you come in to pick up your nightguard, we check that it fits correctly and comfortably.
